Here, at the Apple Tree Almaty International Preschool, we provide world-class opportunities for your child’s learning and development through a combination of educational programs and international curriculum

The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is used in schools all over the world. Currently, this includes nearly 1,800 national and international schools in over 90 countries.

The IPC was introduced in 2000 and has been successfully meeting the learning needs of children for many years. It took four years with leading educational thinkers, school leaders, highly skilled teachers, and curriculum writers to create the IPC. Its continued development today ensures that children are learning a current and highly relevant curriculum based on the very latest research into the brain and the increasing understanding of how children learn.

Here, at the Apple Tree  International Pre-School  the IPC is implemented    in the following way:

The  Early Years Curriculum is taught for kids 2-5 years old:

2-3-year-old children (Caterpillars)

3-4-year-old children (Bumblebees)

4-5-year-old children (Dragonflies)

The Primary Curriculum for kids 5-7 years old

5-7-year-old children (Stars and Big Stars)

The  IPC

  • address the development of knowledge, skills, and understanding in three key areas — subjects, personal development, and international understanding.

  • aims to develop an international mindset in children

  • emphasizes independence and interdependence of different learning areas

  • is influenced by brain-friendly learning and teaching strategies.
